Lung Ching, Long Jing, Dragon Well
The name of this tea literally means "Dragon Well", named after the village near the famous West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province of eastern China. Dragon is the most powerful and divine creature – the lord of all waters in China. A well contains relatively dense water, to supply the living of dragon. "Lung ching " is the chinese spelling of dragon well.
History:
From Qing Dynasty Lung Ching Tea was granted the status of Imperial tea. It is one of the most prestigious and celebrated Chinese green tea, to supply to the officials, national leaders and exalted customers or guests.

Our Lung Ching tea grows in the high mountains with a good environment, known for its “four uniques” – fresh green colour, mellow & sweetish taste, fresh aroma and beautiful, elegant shape.

Drinking Method:
3-5gram into tea cup, water temperature 80C. Infuse for 3-4 min.
Drink when you have a break or after a heavy meal.

1. Features:
It is known for "four uniques": its green colour, mellow taste, fresh aroma, and beautiful shape.
The flat, green leaves produce a clear, yellow-green tea water with a slightly sweet, aromatic fresh flavour and a lingering aftertaste which is one of this tea's particular characteristics.
Dragon well tea contains more nutrients like amino acid,catechin, chlorophyll, vitamin C than other teas,which is good for our health.
2. Production area:
"Lung ching " is the chinese spelling of dragon well. In Chinese mythology,the dragon is the king of animals lived in the water.
Dragon well tea flourishes in the mountainous area where mild climate and plentiful rainfall are plentiful year-round.
Dragon well tea leaves are picked during different periods of time. Generally speaking, the best tea is picked with buds and tender leaf before April, Qingming festival, which is the most tender spring tea.
3. Infusion of Lung Ching:
Good tea should be made with good water, so its flavor can be totally infused.
Usually people use glasses to infuse dragon well tea because the beauty of the tea leaves rising and falling in the water can be enjoyed through the transparent glass, like the newly-opened orchid, the tea leaves extend their waists gently and slowly. It is no doubt an inspirational experience.
